TRAUMA THERAPY
Trauma therapy is a specialized form of mental health treatment that focuses on helping individuals who have experienced traumatic events or emotional distress. It aims to address the psychological and emotional impact of trauma, often utilizing various therapeutic techniques to help individuals process their experiences, reduce symptoms, and promote healing and resilience. Katherine has several years of experience with individuals who have experienced abuse, neglect, and other types of trauma. She also has extensive training in trauma modalities, including TraumaPlay™ and EMDR.
PARENT CONSULTATIONS
This is a stand-alone service to help parents identify and address specific concerns. Parent consultations do not require the commitment of traditional counseling and are usually focused on education, guidance, specific strategies, and support to better understand and respond to their child's needs and improve the parent-child relationship.

Play therapy is a therapeutic approach that uses play as a medium for children to express their thoughts, feelings, emotions, and experiences. Sessions are aimed at understanding and addressing a child's needs through play.
